Elephant Stable not just another popular destination in Hampi. It is a marvel of combination of Hindu-Islamic style of architecture.
Made for Royal Elephants, the stable is famous for it’s 11 mighty domes. Central dome is built in a Hindu or Temple style structure whereas other shows Islamic architecture. Domes are placed alternatively and creates a series.
One can enjoy and relax here on lush green lawn in front of the stable. Elephant Stable fetches good amount of tourists and one of the most photographed site of Hampi.
Elephant Stable can be grouped together with trip of Royal Enclosure. Lotus Mahal, Zenana Enclosure etc are another famous attractions here.
