Pawan Shakti Windmills – Jamkhed – Maharashtra

During my Marathwada Trip, on the way to Beed from Ahmednagar, Pawan Shakti Windmills gave a good reason to stop for a while. These mighty machines are placed on a plateau on the top of hills and absolute near the main road.

Placed near Jamkhed, windmills give nice view for clicks. As a reason for them being this place suggests, you can feel wind blows and can have view till horizon.

I can suggest a roadside stop-by for an hour only as there is nothing apart from wind mills. If you got a parcel meal, this can be a great place to have it 🙂
