Ramgarhia Bunga, the mansion is the only surviving example of Bunga architecture style. Great warrior Maharaja Jassa singh built the mansion in 1755 showing his farsight. The Bunga was built to fortify the area and protect Sri Darbar Sahib and Sri Harmandir Sahib from Mughals.
Ramgarhia Bunga is a three storey brick structure with 2 minarets (watch towers). These minarets were damaged due to earthquake and were renovated during 1903. Another damage was happened during Operation Blue-Star in 1984 and renovated again.
