    On the way to Hampi Village, two mighty boulders attracts your focus. ‘Akka Tangi Gudda’ is a local name given to these boulders which means ‘Sister Stones.. Leaning on each other, these stones forms an arch just near a modern roadway.

    Among many of the folk tales around the stones, story of two sisters is famous one. Two sisters were cursed for ridiculing the place and converted into stones. Hance known as ‘Sister stones.

    The place can be a stop on the way. You can see many tourists hanging around for photos here.

    The place can be covered while exploring Hampi on the way. Hampi / Hospet are places to stay and food. Hampi is well connected with world around.
