Central Sikh Museum is located in the vicinity of the great Golden Temple of Amritsar. As the name suggests, it holds amazing collections of paintings, scripts and historic belongings.
The museum was established in 1958 and became ‘can’t miss’ destination during visit to the Golden Temple. Exhibition of paintings of Sikh gurus, warriors and various historic moments is the best of the place. Open all days for free, the museum also has great collection of books in it’s library.
Rare pencil sketch by Princess Bamba, Baba Sham Singh’s musical instrument Saranda, Sikh Raj’s guns and various articles from Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s era add glory to the museum.
I strongly recommend the Golden Temple’s this webpage to see the glimpse of museum articles.
