Mahayogi of Aundha Nagnath is a sculpture of Aundha Nagnath and is just marvelous. Ornamented temple of Aundha Nagnath is an amazing subject of archaeology. Built in 13th century by Seuna Dynasty (Yadavas of Devagiri), the temple is a living example of Hemadpanti architecture style.
Major attraction among countless sculptures and carvings of the temple is big Mahayogi idols on all the walls. Lord Vishnu (might be Lord Shiva) in the form of Mahayogi is sitting in padmasana with both hands closed in prayer mode. The idols act as a gems in the ornament of the temple.
