Rama Vitthala temple – name later given by archeological scholars. This north facing temple is located near the South Gopuram of the magnificent Vitthala temple campus.

Aging back to 16th century A.D., Rama Vitthala temple is simple but beautiful structure around. Exterior wall os the temple is well ornamented with various bas-reliefs, Devakoshthas and Kumbha pilasters. Elephants couple welcomes at steps at main entrance of western porch.

Temple has basics of like any Hindu temple – Sabha mantapa, Garbhgriha and antaral.

Not much visited, this place is worth of halt of an hour while visiting Vitthala Temple.
